"Lounge" Galerieloft in Cologne
- SQM 180
The Be Lounge is THE luxurious and central solution for families and quiet groups who want to enjoy being together in spacious surroundings during their stay and do not want separate bedrooms. Equipped with parquet floor, underfloor heating, kitchen with glass bar, modern divisible bathroom with sink, bath and shower and toilet and with two additional shared toilets (shared use), it draws a line between post-industrial charm and modern practicality and elegance.
In addition to the qualities as a spacious night-time accommodation, the core competence of our "lounge" is in sociable food or discussion rounds with background music, music listening in Discolautstärke or other noisy activities are not possible because of the quiet neighborhood here.
Open space concept with different isolated areas. In addition to the 3 spacious dining areas with kitchen and glass bar, sofa and the second living room, there are the following spatially separated sleeping options:
1st bedroom with private entrance and exterior, glass door to the loft, wardrobe, double bed 180 x 200 cm
2. Sleeping area on plateau 1, a double and a single bed or 3 single beds 90 x 200 cm or a triple bed 270 x 300 cm, cabinet shelf, optical separation, open to the stairs
3rd sleeping area on level 2, double bed 180x 200 cm, optical separation from the living area
4. Living room 2 as a TV room or sleeping area with 2 windows, double bed 160 x 200 cm, sofa bed 140 x 200 optical separation through sliding walls.
We point out that sleeping in an open space concept does not allow complete privacy, only the first sleeping area is acoustically separated by door from the rest of the loft. For the other sleeping arrangements but there is privacy
A highlight are the atmospheric lighting options - they are particularly well managed here in an interaction of the flexible "Jedi" lighting system with indirect LED backlighting with simple operation - and a high-quality SONOS wireless sound system. On request bookable is a high power projector (5000 Anilumen!) Which allows a perfect cinema experience in HD and 3D.
The object is heated above the floor and two radiators, the forward-looking "Jedi" lighting system allows countless gradations between warm and cold, lighter and darker light tones and color gradients as desired. A Sonos Multiroom sound system and a Deezer Premium Flatrate with iPad operation gives access to 40 million songs in uncompressed quality, but as already mentioned only in volume.
The Belgian Quarter:
The loft is centrally located in one of the busiest districts of Cologne and is at night still a quiet island in the middle of the big city. In order to keep it that way, local residents vehemently resist noise pollution and we have to exclude groups who can not share this desire. The Belgian Quarter is an inner-city district of Cologne in the southern Neustadt-Nord and is one of the most popular and expensive residential areas of the city. This trendy neighborhood is so named because its streets are named after Belgian cities and provinces, such as Antwerp Street. And indeed it exudes a similar charm as the Belgian fashion metropolis: artists, musicians, designers, publishers and agencies are represented and strongly networked with each other.
Here you can find cute boutiques, theaters, goldsmiths, galleries, cafés, bars and fine food stalls. Even the cleanly renovated house facades from the Wilhelminian era contribute to the special flair of the district. Right in the middle: the neo-Romanesque church of St.Michael on the Brussels Square, which in summer is one of Cologne's great open-air venues.
In four minutes you can walk to the stations "West Station" and "Hans Böckler Platz". From there it is 2 stations or 10 minutes to the fair Deutz. The airport Cologne / Bonn can be reached with the regional express train or the S Bahn in about 21 minutes and the Cologne main station can be reached by the line 5 or the trains in 4 minutes.
Further important information:
